Cheryl Paschke, violinist, music educator and now fine arts specialist with the Minneapolis Public
Schools has wide ranging experience and musical interests. She has played and performed with
several groups from classical to ethnic. She has been a member of the Mount Curve String Quartet
for 25 years. She has been with the American Swedish Institute's Spelmanslag for many
years and more recently took up the Nyckelharpa and joined the Twin Cities Nyckelharpa Lag.
She has been with the Kisarit Dancers as a musician for 18 years. She was nominated outstanding
music educator for 1995 by the String Teacher's Assn.
